iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac and all that has to do with Apple is avilable at iFactors. According to the Apple Premium Reseller concept iFactors distributes products from Apple. With currently 10 shops and growing to even more shops, iFactors was searching for a new camera security solution. An intelligent, flexible and mobile way to easily access live and recorded IP camera videos.

Challenge

for a few other locations iFactors alteady had placed a different camera system. The big disadvantage was that the recorded videos could only be accessed on the location itself. So the main challenge for them was to get a more flexible and mobile solution. They were looking for a more modern way to secure their shops. Easy to manage and easy to access. Another important aspect was that it could be accessed easily on Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Solution

Cameramanager is European market leader for video surveillance as a service (VSaaS). Besides storage in a highly secured datacenter it is possible to store the camera images locally on a de Local Storage Unit. The images are being recorded on the location of the customer, but are 24/7 online accessible via PC / Mac or mobile phone.

Via the online portal www.cameramanager.com the camera systems of all shop can be managed and accessed remotely. Both playback of recordings, as wel as changing settings and live viewing can all be done remotely.
