Supported browsers & operating systems

Cameramanager supports the following browsers on most* operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS):

- Internet Explorer 7+
- Firefox 1.5+
- Opera
- Safari

The newest version of Java is required. You can test it here.
*Windows: 32-bit Java. Mac OS X 10.5+ (64-bit Java). Linux 32- of 64-bit.
 

Problems with starting the application

If you want to have the latest version please go to the web site of Java.
Press on the Free Java download button. The page opened by that will show you the latest version.

Mac OS: perform the Software Update and proceed to checking the Java version.

If you are expiriencing problems while starting the application you couldd follow the following steps:

1. Check Java version
   
   Windows
   - Go to Start -> (Settings ->) Configuration -> Java.
   - Under General tab click on About...
   - This window shows you the version of your Java installation.
   
   Mac OS
   - Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Java.
   - Under General tab you will see the list of Java version installed on your Mac.
   - Drag the Java SE 6 64-bit version to the top of the list.
   
   
2. Clear the Java temporary files.
   
   Windows
   -Go to Start -> (Settings->) Configuration -> Java.
   - Under General tab, Tepmorary Internet Files click on the Settings... button.
   - Click on Delete files the Temporary Files Settings window, check all boxes and confirm your choice.
   
   Mac OS
   - Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Java.
   - Under Network tab click on Delete Files..., check all boxes and confirm your choice.
3. Use Mozilla Firefox as an alternative browser.
